Description
A replacement two-pole oil pressure switch is a common switch on a PowerTech generator. This switch is in place to protect your generator from running while experiencing low oil pressure. If your generator has gauges, it requires senders. Oftentimes, senders are mistaken for switches.
Diameter: 1″
Length: 2.25″
Tech Tip: If your generator has gauges, it’s common for the oil pressure switch and oil pressure sender to be connected with a brass “T”. This is usually located around the oil filter. To test this switch jump the two poles together, if it stays running it is most likely a bad switch.
